What is Botanical Solar Dyeing?
Solar dyeing is a playful, hands-on art form that combines the magic of nature, sunlight, and creativity. This process uses a solar-reactive, non-toxic pigment that applies almost clear then transforms before your eyes, changing color as it bonds to natural fabric under sunlight, usually within just 10–15 minutes. (It happens quickly!)
4 oz of Solar Dye (one color): Sufficient to dye the included prepared item plus additional
Pressed Seasonal Botanicals: Flowers, leaves, and a sachet of flower petals
Prepared item: Choose a Silk Eye Mask or Silk Scarf 21in x 21in: Soft, shiny, and perfect as a luxurious accessory
Digital Workbook + Video Instructions: A comprehensive guide that walks you through a rich color library, sourcing for plants and fabric, and advanced application techniques.
Printed Written Guide: For quick reference throughout your creative process.
Reusable Cotton Drawstring Storage Bag: Keeps your materials organized and eco-friendly.
