Botanical dyeing is the art of transforming natural fiber fabrics using the power of the sun and botanicals.

This workshop centers around solar dyeing, a process similar in spirit to cyanotype but instead of blue-only prints, we use vibrant, full-spectrum solar-activated vat dyes that bloom into rich colors like pinks, purples, golds, and greens.

Participants imprint real plants like ferns, flowers, and herbs onto fabric, creating wearable works of art. The result is a unique one-of-a-kind piece that captures the beauty of the moment in botanical color.

What to Expect:

I thoughtfully curate your event with an array of seasonal botanicals both fresh and pressed. Each guest is welcomed at their own individual dye station, set up on soft foam mats for comfort and ease.

Your guests will receive a beautifully designed info booklet that guides them through each step of the process from the botanical ingredients used to the dye science behind the magic. The workshop features solar-activated dyes in a full spectrum of rainbow colors, that magical change color with UV rays in minutes, creating stunning results. Total . workshop timing 1 hour.

Each finished piece is wrapped in a reusable black tin container with a custom label that includes simple wash + care instructions making the take-home totally mess-free.
